Camcorder Jockeys Turn Their Videos into Cash at VideoCage.com

eBay turned millions of regular people into business people. Now amateur and pro video producers can spread their entrepreneurial wings at VideoCage.com – where video clips of anything, for anyone, by anyone can be sold and bought for loose change.

Imagine selling or watching any video clip on any subject – all through one website! VideoCage.com has arrived.

How to build a boat, real estate tours, holidays in Belize, product reviews, family video newsletters. Anybody with a camcorder can turn a profit by shooting a few minutes of video and selling it through VideoCage.com – the Internet’s next household name.

Video is becoming a staple ingredient of the web – and surfers are lapping it up. Delegates at this month’s Consumer Electronic Show in Vegas agreed that video downloads are the next big thing.

But video sites lack quality content and universal appeal. Most online videos meet a loose definition of ‘entertaining’, and there’s never been a single website for producers to sell their short instructional and educational videos.

VideoCage.com gives camcorder jockeys and professional producers an incentive to produce and publish useful video. Content producers will earn anywhere from a few cents to a few dollars every time somebody watches their video – skyrocketing the diversity and quality of Internet video content.

Take a seafood junkie who wants to learn how to use their new sushi kit. They log in to VideoCage.com and type “how to sushi” in the search bar. Whammo! They take a lesson on rice selection and preparation, learn how to slice the fish, and watch how the pros pull it all together.

Consider a mechanic having problems with a Ford Explorer’s air conditioning. They browse the VideoCage directory; Auto>Cars>Ford>Explorer>1992>Climate control to watch a video made by a certified mechanic showing the unit’s components, common problems and how to fix them.

Or a young executive wants to escape the rain for a week. They search for “Belize accommodation”, then sit back and watch videos of local resorts and backpacking dorms.

The options are limitless! Some videos will be for everybody, while others will be highly targeted.

No interest in commercial videos? VideoCage.com’s producers can password-protect personal videos for friends and family, or they can pay a fee to broadcast their ramblings to the world.

VideoCage.com uses Macromedia Flash technology to protect content from file-sharers. Unlike conventional video, the files are viewed online – they aren’t transferred or saved to the viewer’s hard drive. The user doesn’t buy the file, they buy the right to watch it.

VideoCage.com provides a virtual visual encyclopaedia of general and expert knowledge. It promises to launch the careers of thousands of entrepreneurs with a camcorder and a special skill or knowledge to share.

Just as eBay created a second income for thousands of entrepreneurs, VideoCage.com will do the same for casual and professional video producers. Producers will enjoy indefinite income from their amateur videos … everybody’s ideal job!

VideoCage.com is in pre-launch mode with beta launch scheduled for the end of the Year.
